Water Stains On Car Seat

Returning from Aquarobics on Tuesday, I placed my bag on the front seat of the car and unbeknown to me left the top of my water bottle unscrewed. Consequently, on arriving home, I was dismayed to find a horrible wet stain on the seat and up the back. I was hoping it would dry out but it hasn't.

It looks awful because it looks as though someone has weed on the seat. What can I do to remove it, if anything?

You could spill a water bottle over the whole seat, instead of a patch. It would then be even.

Yes, I could. Good idea. I'd rather not though.
Has the water mark gone a bit white around the edges? Or is it just a different shade?
Try Autoglym Interior Shampoo. I've never used it, but I've used several of their other products, and they're all good quality.

It's a darker shade of grey than the seats, Spath. Very obvious but not white around the edges.

Thanks, Bookbinder, I'll have a look at that.
Due to an electronics fault, my car spent several weeks outside with the windows down so, inevitably the seats got rather water-stained. This helped a lot:
