So there is stuff that can be done, assuming that the UK have any concrete plans to replace the parts of the WA they don't like, and assuming that the government has found a solution that is acceptable to both the EU and Parliament.
Still, I agree that Johnson himself doesn't need to be in Brussels himself. All the negotiation, such as it is, will take place between officials.

Very kind of them. All that does is s gets the UK to undertake to effectively comply with all the things that it is leaving in order to avoid. It sets the framework for a trade agreement and will be used to grind the UK into submission. Best avoided altogether.
