I am very fortunate in that I don't know anyone who has contracted it, not even a friend of a friend of a friend.
Maybe I just don't know many people

That should obviously be ‘one’ of our friends.
I didn't when you first posted this but today the sister of a drinking buddy has a died and a mate is in the hospital fighting for his life.
Yes. An old mate. It killed him.
Yes, an old friend of mine who made me feel like a 1940's film star every time I saw him. Was an absolute gentleman with a twinkle in his eye. I was saddened to hear of his death yesterday. But I raised a glass to him last night and had a little tear.

Mr BM heard today of a school mate of his who also died.
No, fortunately still quite a low number of cases in Norfolk. Even in my wider dog community I don't know of any.
One may not know one knew someone who has it. Some infections go unnoticed.
"Theland, if they weren't tested, how do you know they had it?" @14:12 Wed 01st Apr 2020

Neveracrossword, might be apposite to many of the respondents, but don't hold your breath ....or is that a symptom? (;o 0

No. But my cousin's daughter in law's sister in London had it had it and recovered. We have been self isolating for three week in the sticks and are living like hermits with no idea of what is going on locally, but Norfolk is not yet badly affected. Early days though.
I don't know anyone who has had it - but I know several who think they may have - myself included.
Sorry to hear that Naomi, hope you are alright.
Pleased to report that my friend's son now seems to be on the mend. His temperature was down last night and he had a good night's sleep. Fingers crossed.
It sounds good Maggie.
Absolutely fine thanks, Marval. I don't know for sure that I had it - it was just a funny sort of flu type thing that knocked me off my feet for a day or three. I've not even had a cold for ages so it was all a bit odd. Anyway, I'm fine now thanks so all's well with me.
Glad to hear that Naomi.
Thanks marval.
I don't personally know of anyone who has had it and I have repeatedly said on these pages that there are no reported cases in Burnley. My daughter pointed out to me today that that's because the 4 cases that HAVE arisen in Burnley are being treated at Blackburn Royal. So they come under Blackburn and Darwen stats.
Daughter knows four people who have died from it. 2 in London, 1 in Birmingham and 1 in the North East. They were all good friends of hers. Went to pick up our prescriptions today and found out that our GP had been hospitalised with it but is now out and hopefully recovering well.
//No, fortunately still quite a low number of cases in Norfolk. //

Maybe our poor road system, eg no motorways, protects us, one really has to need to come into Norfolk.
And long may it remain that way Zebo!
