For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Although I'm over 70 I really can't be bothered to spend time online to try and get a delivery slot in 2-3 weeks time and then for the order to arrive minus its essential ingredients. I'd rather queue for 20 minutes at Waitrose once a week or do what I did yesterday - went to Lidl 9.30-ish, no queue, hardly any customers and fully-stocked shelves. Brilliant.
Danny - of course I'm affected by lockdown as much as anybody and of course I'd prefer not to queue. However, the frustration shown by people who cant get a delivery slot is clearly immense. Unless someone is disabled or among the people who've had "that letter" and is extremely vulnerable and has been told to self-isolate for 12 weeks, it's much better/easier to actually do one's own shopping.
