Work Changes (Part Ii)
In addition to my query below, my own boss has moved position and is transitioning into a new role from 1st June. I will stay in my current role as Executive Assistant and will support the new Executive as they move into role. As my existing boss transitions to another department he will have a new assistant for his new role. However, as of end of last week my current boss removed my calendar/inbox access and has now given full support rights to his future E.A. (this is the assistant who has recently been bumped from her own role, I should add). This now means I can’t continue to do my job as my duties will pass to the new assistant. The situation all round is being badly managed/communicated but I’m not sure if I should challenge. Should I argue that I should still continue to support my current boss for any duties relating to the department I support? Or allow his new assistant to cover my duties during his transition and graciously accept that I won’t have any work to do until my new boss steps into the role (likely to be beginning of July)?

I would ask for clarification in a non-confrontational way. Good luck.
Maybe I missed it on your other post- how long have you worked there?
