Pneumonia Injections

Has anyone been offered a pneumonia injection by their Dr's surgery and have you taken them up on it? I was offered it last week and refused.

I had it last winter, no problems. Flu jab too. (I've had pneumonia before but I don'tt hink I've ever had flu.)

Kathyan, I think you've first got to calculate your chance of actually catching coronavirus. I think I read somewhere it was one in 10 but I'm not sure. After that you calculate your chances of surviving it, which would vary according to age, vulnerability, sex and skin colour. For myself, if they come up with a Covid vaccine soon, I'll take it.

I had one 5 years ago with my annual flu jab as a one off because I am diabetic I had no problems with it
