6 Feet Apart

The Luke Combs song 6 feet apart. The date the song was written and the social distancing rule in the USA, don't to me seem tie up.
Can someone please explain this ?

Thank you, I should have worded that better, I wasn't talking specifically about what 6ft is, but rather about how did he know about the 6ft rule, if the song was wrote about a year previously..
