His contract was due for renewal in anycase and ,with his ratings on LBC higher than any others, I'm sure he could find another slot on another station if he wished to pursue his media career. I am sure LBC will find their ratings will drop drastically now as most listeners switch off for O'Briens slot.

When in the car LBC tends to be my station of choice, as I like Ferrari, Eddie Mair and Iain Dale, but if I happen to be in the car when O’Brien is, I have to change station.
I’m all for political bias on a commercial station, and I have no problem listening to left wing presenters, but O’Brien is just far too rabid; he is an intensely annoying ***.

Having now read the article in the Metro (thanks for the link) it seems the station owners got fed up with Farage telling it like it is, and upsetting the supporters of the mob. So whether the resignation was a free choice or forced is of low consequence. It's about another business wanting to jump on a bandwagon and encourage the latest appalling behaviour.
//good for Boris, says it like it is...they do resemble letterboxes, paint them red and people would be shoving letters in the slot...//
Maybe Mr Magoo would!
Gully, he said the letter box thing two years ago. Bad taste, but intended as a joke. You can't sack someone for something that happened, quite publicly, before they were elected. You're clutching at straws.
