L was the beggar at the gates of the rich mans house.... even a dog came to lick his wounds .... but I can't confirm that Jesus actually cured him of leprosy before he died!
There are many hospitals named after St Lazarus and they all mention treating skin disorders and leprosy. xx

Evening goldenfield ... All the sites I've looked at say Simon the leper who was or is assumed to have been healed by Jesus. (Mark 1 :40). It woudn't be the answer anyway ???? as he was not a beggar ! Apparently, little is known about him but he could have been father of Martha, Mary and Lazarus which is how Lazarus contracted leprosy. I'm not a Bible reader so I can only go on what I read on the sites.Point taken though, it doesn't seem that Jesus healing him is actually mentioned, just assumed. xx
Yes - fair enough earthakitten - just interested in seeing if you knew more than I have been able to find out.
This is at least the second time to my knowledge that a Bible question has been raised on this board when the Bible does not give a specific name to be able to answer the question with. Lazarus or Simon could be the answer the quiz-setter is looking for but hobnail might just as well put his own name as the answer as it is just as likely as any ha ha.
