When people answer questions, they often leave links to other sites to prove their answer or indeed as an answer itself that appear as hyperlinks.
When i answered a question and left a web address this did not happen. how do i make web addresses i leave on this site become hyperlinks?

Simply copy and paste the web address.

But remember to 'click' the space bar at least once immediately after the web address or the link will not work.

It must be the space bar - the enter key will not work.

If you want to turn it into a word you need to learn some very basic HTML:

< a h-r-e-f="http://www.google.com">google</ a>

Just remove the hyphens and it'll work properly.

If you're happy for the full address to be visible rather than "click here" then just make sure you include the http bit at the beginning.
