dannyk13 "Woofie, thank you, but, most likely, that would be followed by a bad dose of salmonella poisoning,"
It doesn't seem to (or didn't)....actually as I understand it, the samonella is on the outside of the chicken so maybe not as risky as it sounds.
AuntPollyGrey "Woofgang what does raw chicken taste like (please don't say 'chicken ) :-)"
APG none of the group risked it. We were joining a crude oil supertanker next day entailing an early start and a journey by minibus then a longish ride on the agent's launch....not a good time to play silly devils with one's digestion!
Judge writes: "If God did not intend for us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them from meat, would he?"
If I didn't already know that Judge was no Judge (think Ethelred the Unready for a similarly named imposter), then 'judgments' like that quoted above would convince me that I was right.
If God hadn't intended us to fire bullets, he wouldn't have given us lead, would he?
Allen; it's really a waste of time arguing with meat eaters. They don't get it. "I like meat, so I'll eat it." They don't empathise with non-human entities - they're not human, so they don't mind being bred and killed.
Beef isn't rare. There is loads of it in the fields up here. All different colours too. Black, Brown, Black n White, Brown n White, some of it almost nearly White. Moo. Loads Sheep as well so Lamb will not be rare any time soon. No Unicorns though. They are really rare.
//If God hadn't intended us to fire bullets, he wouldn't have given us lead, would he?//
He didn't make bullets. Our teeth, eyes, digestive system, all suggest we are designed to eat meat. I don't condone cruelty in the process, but we breed animals, because we are meant to eat meat.
