Tina Brown, former editor of Vanity Fair, says that fake documents used to procure the interview with Martin Bashir led to Diana losing trust in the loyalty of her security officers and dismissing them. Had that not happened, Tina Brown says, Diana would still be alive.

nope quite right - there is no thinking on AB ! ter daah !

the event seems quite straightforward - A. the beeb deceived champagne charlie with forged documents
B. big ructions and many posts on internet - AB leads !
C document found written by the gal at the time saying she had no grouses and was satisfied with the outcome ( as tho she werent doing the same thing herself)
D. game over beside the squawking ( from the usual suspects on such sites as AB)

Bash the sneaky, lieing Bashir! Bash the dishonest BBC for ignorantly airing the interview without a care for the repercussions.

If such dishonesty was directed at my mum I would bomb the BBC - instead I will not renew my TV licence!
