How are we ever going to rid ourselves of this virus when there are still people around like this?
I wonder if they have protests like this in other parts of the world and if so, how do they deal with it?

it's a virus. it will spread. it will continue to spread until it runs out of victims to infect. at this time we have only a pseudo lockdown. schools are open, shops are open, people are allowed to wander about outside "for exercise", etc. all these are opportunities to spread, never mind the odd protest. the virus will not disappear. it might be possible to exercise some control over it with the current measures, but they won't eliminate it. the only way to eliminate it would be for a 100% lockdown. no going out. for any reason.
