Looking at the pictures in the papers of crowds of Londoners doing last minute shopping and fleeing London, it seems that they have had enough and don't really give a damn anymore and it seems that the government has finally lost the consent of the people.

I wonder how many Londoners will be trying to sneak off to their holiday cottage in Cornwall.

We live in Tier 1 (Hereford) and there were shed loads (we’ll at least two coaches full) of Welsh people in town last night. Venues are now posting on FB that proof of address will be needed.

The mistake (one of many) Boris and Hancock made was telling people that we had to endure Lockdown2 so we could have a ‘normal’ Christmas.
So we obeyed for 4 weeks, and then they have snatched the prize away at the last minute.
We needed a second lockdown through November or things would be very worse now. Boris shouldn’t have dangled the carrot, and just done stick.

I don't think tier 4 are allowed to be with family, emmie? The exception might be for care reasons... but as far as I'm aware, it's your own household only?
