dismissal appeal hearing
6 Answers
I have lost my job and am appealing againts the decision. What would be an overall good game plan regarding attitude and perspective with a view to getting my job back?
I believe I can contest the grounds on which the decision to dismiss was made, but what approach would you favour, apologetic & remorsefull or indignant & firm?

in a pickle
At the dismissal I was encouraged to appeal which I did, however, prior to the hearing I withdrew from preceedings (my reasoning being simmilar to yours). Subsequently I recieved further correspondance implying I should continue and a hearing is currently being convened.
This is not something I can nonchalantly walk from, it was everything with unrivaled earning potential and as far as my previous condition being used against me, the BMA (2001) classifies alcholism as a medically recognised condition so such action would be discrimination.
I am aware this post reads as sad but obviously can not divulge details.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks
