I've never raped a woman.

I've also never murdered a woman, abused a woman or harassed a woman.

None of those things have ever entered my mind, but it turns out I have the "potential" to do all of those things and I should be feared.

Never mind though, I can't go to a non-essential shop or a pub because I will start a zombie apocalypse, but if I was in possession of a vagina, I could go to a completely non-socially distanced vigil.

Am I the only one that is a little offended by how my sex is being defined?

////%Brace yourself Gladys"/////

LOL..lol...
Have you ever been out with a Gladys, Squad?

I haven't.......
Sqad //ihave also been asked by a girlfriend to rape her after tying her to the bed//
You must realise that isn't rape, if it's consented to.
I put this on another thread earlier.

Im just fed up with the whole issue.

30% of murders are women. So 70% of murders are men%.

Why, oh why has this murder been treated any differently to others. Because the murderer was a police officer! It got more media coverage. All murders whether to men or women are awful. Murders are happening all the time, and men are just as vulnerable or more vulnerable perhaps to be the victim of a murder by someone stronger or nastier than themselves. We all need to protect ourselves as best we can. We simply can't have a set of rules for women or for men. I am in my seventies, have led an eventful life, particularly in my younger days. I was aware of keeping myself as safe as possible, but I never considered that men should be seen as a possible threat. There are threats to all groups of people. That is what life is all about. It can't be policed. Women want equality, but this seems to be all about labelling men as a possible danger.

And what happened last night was dreadful. Dreadful that these protesters decided to do exactly what they wanted and ignore the safety of others (from possible Covid).

I would never expect a man to cross the road because he feels awkward about walking behind me!

Sunk at 7.07 - I go the the pub (when I’m allowed) for social reasons. You’re posts get increasingly bizarre as the night wears on, suggesting your drinking gets heavier.

You need to get some help mate. Heavy drinking is bad.
Sunk is making sense to me. It would be good to respond to his/ her posts, rather than insults? Or would you answer mine? Please.
Maybe ask - "Have you ever been subjected to a non-consensual sexual encounter & what did you do about it?"

If you have and did nothing then you may have contributed to such behaviour becoming more accepted & more extreme.
Don't think so, dave. The majority of people have morals and empathy, rather than "Not being arrested". And maybe, the police should start listening more, as it often seems people feel reporting anything is pointless.
Female staff at a McDonalds in London reported a man, twice, indecently exposing himself to the female workers in the store. There was CCTV of both incidents. The police were called, the culprit talked to by the local cops and let go, only to murder Sarah Everard a couple of days later.
I’m sure lessons will be learnt blah blah blah.
Yes, on that one, there are questions for the Met to answer - and also that this 'rogue' was also part of the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Corps - didn't any one of his team recognise behaviours/symptoms out of the norm????
// didn't any one of his team recognise behaviours/symptoms out of the norm???? //

Perhaps they did the same as the plods at McDonalds, and had a good laugh about it?
If so, they should be deep-fried after the enquiry.
well, it's the same as targeting black people because they're supposed to commit more crimes.

If you want to prevent rapes, you obviously target males. Stop and search them all, I say. They'll learn soon enough.
Black women are targets of stop and search?
Certain 'social clubs' bear watching, especially when members are hanging out.
No, not at all. I alos own a kitchen knife so I'm a potential murderer
Lets not forget that the vigil was illegal, a judge having already ruled it could not take place and the sensible element had rearranged to do their personal vigil on their doorstep not use up police resources and risk reinfection.

// Lets not forget that the vigil was illegal, a judge having already ruled it could not take place //

Except that is NOT what happened on Friday. The High Court Judge decided that the legislation and guidance made absolutely no sense, and he was unable to determine either way whether it was illegal or not.
The Met Police then decided to ban the vigils not because they were illegal, but because they ‘might be’ unlawful. The Met also refused the help of voluntary wardens to help implement social distancing.
But your assuming only a set number would turn up with invitations and would follow all requests& instructions. But the mob would still of turned up to push there agenda. Then am sure some maybe you would of said 'why did'nt they ban it'. Cant do right for doing wrong?
