Not cheap. I *think* it can be tinted.

Multi-surface basically means wood and metal. I have never been asked to use anything other than emulsion on walls and ceilings, nor would i like to attempt it. The cost would be something!
Dave, i have twice used emulsion on skirting boards and doors, etc, (on top of an undercoat) at the customer's request, though i did try and persuade them to go satin. I don't particularly like the finish but the customer is always right. :-(

I went into a house once where the walls, metal stair rail and all woodwork had all been painted battleship grey gloss....freont door both sides and windowframes in and out too. She said it was easy, hardwearing and could be scrubbed down....but she was a lady who had her problems and I don't advise it.
That's a trend in some places, woof.

I gave a customer a price once for a bedroom which was painted black ceiling, walls and woodwork. Needless to say I put in a high price as they wanted it done in one coat and a much lighter colour. Didn't get the job. Felt sorry for who ever got the job in the end but don't think it would have been done in one coat.
