Can anyone tell me how to get rid of her? I'm watching the TV using a sky remote.

Unlike subtitling, I'm unaware of any TV provider (e.g. Sky, BBC, etc) that offers signing as an option. If you're seeing it, it must be part of the actual broadcast, that everyone sees.

What channel/programme are you watching?

Channel 4 'Captive'. Based on a true story so sometimes sub titles come up and she's covering the end of sentences. Does that make sense?

Find a different edition to download - I can’t be doing with the person signing, it does my head in.

Channel 4 has added the signing 'at their end', so there's nothing you can do about it:

Slightly off topic, but there was a channel I watched a few times, and I could not get rid of the " descriptive video". I did a little digging and found out that the channel broadcast with that feature built-in, and I couldn't disable it...I don't watch in anymore.
