Compost?

Can I replenish used compost to enable me to use it again the following year?
Will this have any adverse effects on the produce?

Provided the plants that previously grew in the compost were healthy and not diseased it is perfectly safe to reuse compost. I would mix in some suitable fertiliser, I like chicken manure pellets, because it will not be as nutrient rich as it was when used last year.

Agree with what barry said. However, can be a bit hit or miss. I use used compost as a mulch on my flower beds and fresh in pots etc.

I reuse it as a seed compost.

Yes, I agree with others, It's far too good to waste. I would prefer to use it as a mulch in the garden, rather than for indoor plants, otherwise it may harbour pests and diseases, such as compost flies, etc.
