Does anyone remember a fellow who `returned` to Albert Square after something like a 15 years absence. He had had a serious fallout with Pauline (and I think Pat) before leaving. (This was before it was on television so we didn`t actually see it). I think he had two children - it was not Mr/Mrs Raymond (Irene, now in The Bill). He opened a hardware shop in the square and although was in many story-lines, cannot remember any. His looks/build were similar to Honey`s dad.
Did he exist or am I totally confused?
I think I saw him in something else the other day but took a long time to remember what he had been in.

Thanks for the jog zipadeedodah - that`s him. I do remember Tony and Sarah but was not sure if his family or the Raymonds.

Wasn't he Kathy Mitchell's brother?

Yes he was galltin. When he left Albert Square he went to Dubai, and then moved to South Africa near to Kathy (until she died...).
