the shepherds were said by Luke to have seen the angel of the Lord rather than the queen's head, but I suppose seeing the head of the church of England would do for English shepherds, as in the 1st class Large.

I can't remember the last time I bought or needed stamps. I wouldn't buy them personally but they'd make a nice gift for a stamp collector.

Does it really matter what's depicted on a postage stamp...?
You buy them, stick them on something and send them to somebody else - plain ones do the job just as well.
