To Beer Or Not To Beer.
6 Answers
Recently had a course of penicillin, no alcohol allowed, so, after a daily consumption of 4 or 5 pints of real ale a day decided to go for the non alcohol beer for a week. Far from this proving a hardship, I found I much preferred my life without that fuzzy edge on reality. That was back in September. I haven't missed it at all and so continue with the zero percent drinks. My question is does this render the drink less harmful , say about the same as an all natural fruit drink or so, or ? Thanks for your indulgence and thanks in advance.

It's the alcohol that damages your liver. If you like the non alcoholic just stay on it.

Surely the alcohol is the harmful bit, so if you have managed to cut it out carry on with the alcohol free beer.
I know where you are coming from. I used to stopover in Saudi Arabia, and didn't like having soft drinks. I therefore drank the non alcoholic 'beer'.
They weren't even allowed to call it beer, so it was a well known brand - labelled malt brew.
