Anyone know if they still take Cd discs?
I've decided to get rid of those I don't play anymore.

Quite a lot do but it's worth trying music magpie and CEX as if some are in demand you can get quite good prices. Most will be pennies, but some are 50p, £1, or more and a large number can add up quite quickly

Thanks for that Rowan, I've never heard of either, but having Googled them, CEX has a store near to where I live, but I can't find any stores for Music Magpie.

You post them off to music magpie. They send you a lable after you've scanned all the cd barcodes

Some do, some don't. Best thing is to go and ask first.

You don't need to scan codes for Music Magpie - you can manually enter them.

My local charity shop has hundreds of CD discs. You can buy 10 for £1.

yes its just quicker to scan if you have a phone.... but you can key in the long bar codes but it takes time

When I've gone through them, I'll take them to CEX next time I'm near there, less messing about.
If they don't want them, there are charity shops nearby too.

Never heard of CEX before; just Googled it and there is one in my home town. Well, you live and learn.

Cex will also give you the option of cash or higher value if you spend what they give you in the store i.e. if you wanted to put the money towards a second hand phone or other device

I found something I'd been searching for at CEX online. Good price, good service but I do think a lot of their electricial goods are overpriced

Yes. I one i recently took stuff to took CDs but not video tapes.
