Buenchico, my 700 pot plants are in a secluded area 50 miles north of Sudbury, and, as we don't get hurricanes too often here, I'm expecting a bountiful harvest and will be thankful for it.
Sanmac:
I'm glad that you weren't in the path of the one that hit Prince Edward Island. I was talking to a radio amateur there just a few days ago. He'd got a massive aerial tower but I've got my doubts as to whether it's still there!
Red. Thank you for making my day! But not to worry. Apart from a few gifts for close family, it's just a normal day for us. Stopped doing Christmas quite a few years ago now.
We have only just put in an offer Red and ours has only just gone on the market. I am so anxious because I really love the bungalow. Its so nice and private and can't be seen from the road. And just perfect for us. I just dread moving now. 43 years worth of stuff to sort out and OH has created a double garage full of junk. Also old trailers and things on the land.we need quite a few skips. And I really can't help. Son will help out!
We have a viewing tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for us. X
I can only suggest that you do like we did and get an auction house involved for the garage etc - you will be surprised at what sells at auction.
Get a skip and start dumping now - we got rid of 2 skip loads lol
Do you still have scrap metal guy up there? they will help too
Thanks Red for the tips. Trouble is OH is so fit and healthy for his age that he insists on doing everything himself. In fact that's my biggest worry. He's so stubborn! He actually would want stay here but knows I can't cope any more.
