I am not much of a flag waver but I dont have a problem with people being patriotic. Nationalism . however, is usually an unhealthy trait and I find English nationalism unhealthy as it is based on a delusion of grandeur. We are not a better people than our European neighbours nor indeed a worse people

Our courts are too lenient, we let too many immigrants in, we do this wrong, we do that wrong, blah blah blah.
