This is a question the ancients have pondered for many years...

If an orange b&q bucket falls from a shelf in an empty b&q store in Dudley at 3am does it make a noise?

You'll be glad Bob is on here, one day, JJ, when you need advice on which bucket to buy from B&Q:-J
You see, Bob, some of the ancients have tried answering your important question. I only know the Bromsgrove B&Q outlet so I’m afraid I can help no further.
I've been to Bromsgrove, Stoke Prior to be precise.

It was very warm.
BLOCK & QUAYLE - not a lot of people know that...
If it happens to fall on a bunch of grapes in the homebrew section, it may make a little whine
If it falls in the 'Covid bargain basement' section, the noise will be somewhat masked.
yeah along with if a B+Q orange is tobe collected
and there is no one to collect it
has it been collected?

all ask as Kai Lung used to say
Kai Lung, a terrible affliction.
Putting all philosophical arguments to one side. If the b&q store is totally evacuated of air so as to leave a vacuum, then the bucket upon landing, will make no sound.
Nice pub there, Doug. The Queens Head.
the sound will be transmitted through whatever solid objects the bucket hits - probably the floor.
"I've been to Bromsgrove, Stoke Prior to be precise.

Is that from, "I've Never Been To Me"..?
No, The Maharajah Of Brum.
