is it possible to start a rose bush from a clipping??

Really easy. Cut a piece below a root bud and above a root bud. It wants to be about 8 inches long. Take a few of them and simply stick one end in the ground. Thats it, done. If they take (usually do), you will find that they dont get suckers, cos they are not grafted to a root stock.
