Ache In Leg

I have hip arthritis, though not bad enough yet for a new hip. My cat has made a habit of laying across my lower legs ( yes, I know, shoo her off) and my left leg tends to ache with the weight. Although she’s not heavy! Also my inner leg is quite tender under the knee at the back. Also this leg does feel ‘cold’ sometimes…. Funny feeling. No hardness in leg. Would this be due to the arthritis? Sorry if I have asked a similar question in the past, it does ring a bell….

My leg has been the same for the past week. I put mine down to muscle strain. But I am keen to see what answers you get. Also I sometimes get a little frisson up & down my leg.
Could the coldness be down to bad circulation?

Got three legs have you smurfy......;-)

From what you describe, this is nerve entrapment from your arthritic hip, made worse by the weight of your cat.
No big deal.

No Sqad only two legs .. female .. haha. Thanks for reply, not worried now :)
I'm having similar problems in my r. leg from a badly strained Gluteus Maximus insertion point (I managed to do it during lockdown and was offered a telephone physiotherapist!!!!). The whole knock-on effect down the leg and sciatic nerve is taking a long time to come right, but it's a lot better now that I am paying for sports massage.
I also have artificial hips and the r. one is now 20 yrs. old, so I suspect it is wearing-out and needs replacing, but there's a fat chance of that. So, I back Sqad in saying that it's my old friend/enemy, trapped nerve. :(
