Gromit, 1900 Sunday, I know we were never part of Schengen. I was talking about the ease with which people are able to roam the rest of Europe at will. Turn up in Greece or Italy or Spain and getting to Calais is no big deal. Come on in!!

Its not that,Naomi.Up here in Aberdeen a couple of hotels have been closed to all,but these migrants.At present they are wandering the streets of Aberdeen not doing much of nothing,meanwhile my company is looking for about thirty unskilled labourers/manual workers.I dare say if you asked these people if they wanted a job paying proper wages they would bite your hand off.and they would be paying into the system rather than taking out of the system.

Well at least give them an option,Naomi.Those that are willing to work,let them work.Those unwilling tell them to find another country.And no not Rwanda.Are the Tories taking the pee out of us with their ill thought out million pound losing scheme by sending these people out to Rwanda,these people will always find a way back to the UK?Bah,i give up.

Normal immigration is not a problem as there will always be movement of people around the world. What is a problem is the illegal immigration that is fuelled by the people smuggling gangs, the government is getting nowhere in tackling it, it needs to go global with international cooperation to catch the ring leaders.

the best answer implies people can come to the uk and move into a council flat and get a phone and some free wage that isnt how it works in the slightest it is not easy to get a national insurance number and without a national insurance number they wont get anything
