Germany, in the EU, in Recession, racing inflation.
UK, outside the EU, not in recession, inflation lowering.

As of July 2023 the German inflation rate stood at 6.2% compared with the UK’s at 6.8%.

Although the UK has recently just avoided recession with very low growth figures, Germany had only just entered recession with very minor negative growth figures.
However most experts agree that the German economy entering recession is largely due their reliance on Russian gas supplies (and the costs to remedy this) – and nothing to do with them being in the EU.

I can confirm it doesn't. But what has the UK's waiting list to do with the EU ?

Your post implies that we are better off with a higher inflation rate than Germany due to not being in the EU – perhaps for similar reasons, we are better off with more people (over 7 million) waiting for a hospital operation than Germany due to not being in the EU.
