A real man would never stand there and watch his woman pay for anything. He would go out and wait in the car.

I once witnessed a real example of this attitude while in a supermarket checkout queue.  Woman with full trolley is feeding the checkout, cashier is scanning it, and the stuff is piling up in the output area watched by the husband standing there with his hands in his pockets. Woman then pays and frantically tries to clear the backlog while husband continues to stand by idly - I tell you, I had to bite my tongue firmly to prevent a very insulting remark emerging.

I can understand how you feel! 

I've got to laugh at my OH. He pushes the trolley full of food on out to the car, while I'm left pay. That's ok, but what if for some reason my card didn't work or I didn't have enough cash! He's already gone! Lol
