Talking About Tv At Work

Do people think it is reasonable for a work colleague to demand you dont talk about a popular drama series at work, because they want to binge watch them at a later date? Has happenned to me regards Line of Duty. I know its a first world problem

depends on how old the tv is, if it is new then fair enough but if it is 10 years old then tell them they have had enough time to watch it.
