don't know why you think that out of order, even allowing for the contestants being out of order as to the planets line-up.

My favourite one recently, Bradley, "St. Michael is the patron saint of what?" Answer, "Marks & Spencers.

Surely it's common knowledge that the 2 inner planets do not have satellites. Do/did people learn nothing in school?

I didn't know that - the planets & their satellites were not discussed at my grammar school to the best of my memory.

What is "common knowledge" to TTT - well....

TTT, you are lucky if basic physics is taught - things like Newton's second law (F=ma).

I guess my school must have been exceptional. At the time I didn't realise but the levels of ignorance about things that are obvious to me is evidence of that. ......or is my superpower kicking in again? ...mmmm!

Astronomy / solar system is not a common school subject in my experience. What subject heading does it come under?

We did maths/physics/chemistry/biology/etc/etc. Astronomy - not in my notes.

I learned about the solar system in Junior school. We had huge posters on the wall about this and other things. Later in secondary school astro physics was covered in physics and cross over lessons with maths.

davebro - they studied astronomy and astrophysics at TTT's school as his teachers debated which rocket to put him on and launch him out of the Earth's influence.....sadly, it didn't work!
