I know you don't have any concept of what constitutes a lie, but there were 126 fines issued to Downing Street residents/guests. Not one appealed, they all paid up. At least 12 parties were investgated. Because they were NOT legal gatherings.

TTT is right. Getting rid of Boris, a proven winner, was the worst folly they did, he still may have lost the election but would have decimated the Labour majority. Boris was a cut above Truss and she was not really PM material.

Truss is now saying that the rise of mortgage rates in the UK was nothing to  do with her . And people should not blame her .      Think it's time for those men in white coats to pay her a visit😎

mortgage rates went up because interest rates went up to control inflation following fossil fuel inflation following Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Nothing to do with Truss,  interest rates rose all over Europe.

Truss now says she remained silent during election period in fear of hindering the Tories campaign. But now is the time to intervene.   And blame everyone else but her, for losing her seat....Typical Twisted Tory.

That was part of the reason but there was clear spike as Kwarteng/Truss budget spooked the  market as the proposed tax cuts appeared to be unfunded and unaffordable. Fortunately it was only temporary as the budget was never implemented
