Going to Gibraltar early 2007 looking for self-catering apartment with 3 bedrooms. Can anyone help? Found one recently but when I tried to book was told it was no longer available. Have been to Gib several times before but can never find self-catering. The cheap hotels are rubbish and the nice ones are too expensive. Any info greatly appreciated. x

Hiya sweet I may be able to help, although i live in theuk im from gib and travel there frequently. I will ask around to see...you are right, the Rock Hotel, Caleta Palace and Elliot hotel are too expensive and the appalling Cannon hotel and dire Bristol are not good enough. Get back ot me on this one.

Thanks for your help. Please let me know if you find anything. We used to stay at Both Worlds many years ago and it was great. It is also difficult to find flights as well as we live in the North West. Monarch have stopped flying out of Manchester.

Liz, although Monarch has stopped flying from Manchester, worry not because as from March 2007 a new airline called Fly Gib (based in Gibraltar) will be introducing regional uk routes to Gib including Manchester.

Thanks for all your help but I don't think any of them are going to be large enough. We need 3 bedrooms! We may have to give Gibraltar a miss. Shame, as we have been going for many years. My father-in-law came from Gib. x

Sorry :( you may have to stay just outside Gibraltar, in the La Linea area. I dont know what else to suggest, im sorry x
