Not everyone in my life knows I work in selco, I didn't tell them incase it didn't work out, what do I do now?

Maybe Abbey meant 'I said'( why she had so many jobs) and 'some were temporary ( referring to some past jobs that were temporary.)

Besides, most jobs are temporary in the sense that there's a probationary period and both sides can end it at short notice.
