Is a mixed grill still a feature of pubs and restuarants?  I've just realised it is years since I've had one.

Yes

Confirmed yes.

It is.  Recently we had a meal at one of our local pubs and a couple of the family had a mixed grill.

My favourite meal when at a restaurant, sometimes with the steak others without it.  Not fussed but like a choice of meats on the plate.

Next week, Chicken Maryland in Chinese restaurants.

A proper mixed grill with everything in would be too big a meal for me.

Good one from the Beefeater chain, too big for one sitting, Ember Inns ( pub chain)do a reasonable one,

Had one in the local Harvester on Monday.

Poppins (S E chain) offer the following :-

MAXIGRILL Quarterpound burger, fried egg, sausage
bacon, mushrooms, tomato, peas and chips or jacket potato

Thanks all

A Tandoori mixed grill makes a nice change from the usual Naga or Vindaloo.  Just a bit filling in some restraunts.
