Don't feel there's any point. It already has loads of signatures and will have zero influence on government.

A waste of time.  Why can't they man up and accept they lost (overwhelmingly).

Yes, I signed it and got the official response.

It will eventually add to the loads of paperwork, indicting this Govt. perhaps. - but they aren't listening.  That means that at least 3 million people are very, very angry.  I suspect that they will be ignored... at the govt's peril.

of course it will be ignored - as it should be.  we are not italy, governments have a term for a reason.  People had their chance to vote in the summer, and did so.  There's no backsies.

Who'd have thought politicians would ever go back on their promises?

The government is forced to debate whether they've failed to deliver on their promises every time Parliament is assembled.

It's called having an opposition.

It has been going on for the last few hundred years. The fact people think we now need a petition on it is hilarious.

If it serves only to send a message of discontent to Starmer's government it's worthwhile.   I signed it a couple of weeks ago.

How many people voted something other than labour at the last election?

Until the number on this petition exceeds that it's irrelevant.

Actually, even after that it's still irrelevant.

Get over it.
