How do I say "Hello pretty lady, may I kiss you with tongues" in Italian, in case I pull when Im over there.

Ciao bella ragazza (pronounced ra-gatza), posso li bacio (bat chee oh) con le linguette (lin-gwettee).

That's kinda literal about the tongues bit though, can't say I've ever had to use it ;)!

So far, I can hold a basic conversation (about weather, my lunch etc) as long as the other person speaks very slowly and clearly and appears interested in my conversation...

(I'm still on ch2 so far in my 'teach yourself french' book)
