During the Vietnam War, the A-Team's commanding officer, Colonel Morrison, gave them orders to rob the Bank of Hanoi to help bring the war to an end. They succeeded in their mission, but on returning to their base four days after the end of the war, they found their C.O. murdered by the Viet Cong and his headquarters burnt to the ground. Therefore no proof existed that the A-Team were acting under orders, and they were sent to prison by a military court.

Good , nonsense bit of fun this series was - dont you agree ?
Wasn't it incredible that with all those exploding vehicles / buildings / machine guns firing every where - that nobody ever got hurt .?
The other really hilarious thing about it was the way they would go into a barn , or something , armed only with a screwdriver and a welding torch - and then out they would come with an ' armour plated tank '

Bazile - Not quite true that no-one ever got hurt. I only watched a handful of A-Team episodes so you will have to forgive my vague details here!
In the re-uniting the A-Team programme on E4 or More 4 or some such channel a few months ago hosted by that Cornish tw@ with the long hair (Justin something perhaps?) e interviewed most of the original cast and it was mentioned that the General who was chasing them did acutally die in something like the second last programme (I think he may have been shot in the back and then died in a helicopter) The lad wo played him in the series said he was delighted to have died and been the only persopn to do so in the A-Team so deliberately ammed up his death scene to be as over-acted and 'dying swannish' as possible.
Hope you can understand the character I am getting at beneath the garbled vaguaries!!
