Festive feeling

Carrying on from stylinsams question what makes you think 'yep its definitely xmas soon'? I was on my way to work this morning and the pogues came on, that's when I know its xmas. Makes me smile :-)

an empty purse and bags and bags of lovely gifts all around me and not one of thems for me! Thats what makes me realise its xmas!

Same as you 4getmenot, when Chris Moyles played the Pogues this morning I had to turn the radio up full blast and sign along! It really got me in a christmassy mood!

How weird we must have been listening to it at same time and thinking same thing, bet many others were too though.

It used to be when the holidays are coming ad came on from coca cola but as others have said, it has changed now so I suppose it is when I heard Walking in the Air playing in our precinct

Yer the coca cola advert used to do it for me, but now its put on in November so it just irritates me :-)

Driving across the New Forest listening to Andy Williams Christmas Album - it has to be this album because I remeber the songs from when I was a kid - to buy our Christmas tree and coming home and having buttered crumpets and mulled wine. We do it every year and it never fails to make me feel Christmassy.
Also getting the Christmas Edition of the Radio Times (my Mum always buys it for me instead of a Christmas Card has done ever since I left home) and circling all the programmes I want to see, I used to do this with my sister when we where kids and now I dio it with my son.

Mine is here now i have my tree up and all the pressies are underneath, this year is my little girls first christmas and seeing the look of wonder on her face when the tree lights are on makes me feel very warm inside!
