How come all the songs bidding for the No.1 slot have nothing to do with Chrismas? Except Sir Cliff.

I was just thinking that yesterday! This year there is no christmas number 1 (as far as I know) usually they always have a christmas song... :(
I dont even think there is one in the charts.
sad to say leona will make the top stop this christmas, even if it sell one copy is will some how end up at number one, and its not even a new song FFS!! I would rather cliff was number one than that rubbish!! the darkness was the last band to write a good christmas song, but even that wasnt number 1
Do Not Vote On The X Factor.Do Not Watch The X Factor. It is simple.Lets Write a Christmas Song for next year.

fremsley. It would be nice to hear a song that is about Christmas religious or otherwise.
Bacause the race for the Christmas No. 1 slot has nothing to do with Christmas, more about cynically generating cash (see Leona, above). I'm not sure if the proceeds of Cliff's single goes to charity, but as a good Christian it should...
I heard today that Leona "I'm just like that Mariah Carey, me" Wotserface is outselling the current number one (Take That) by something like 25 copies to 1. A foregone conclusion, I'm afraid. :-(

Incredibly, Cliff's record company woefully underestimated the demand for his single and have been out of stock for a couple of days!

I am not keen on Cliff's song but that is a shame. At least it relates to Christmas. He has a lot of fans and I would rather see him at No.1 than Leona. She has a nice voice but not my cup of tea
