Is anybody else having the site really slow down and "Next/Previous" buttons take you to questions in 2005/6?

I've just come on line Phil, and tested above moves ... all seems ok with me ... sorry !
Mines very slow
All of my movement around site is at full speed at the moment, but on past occasions it has been dreadfully slow. Could the problem relate to the area and strength of signals etc at different times?
You`re good Phil its back to normal now. Phil will fix it.

I even get a "Previous" option for the latest question! (Yes I have re-loaded the relevant pages to check.)
On the day of the storms last week we were continually sent back to 2004 which lasted for several hours. Some days, like Tuesday, can be exceedingly slow and frustrating, but today is perfectly OK.

J-J, were you running Firefox or Internet Explorer?
My son has just put four Microsoft Office progs on my PC, and it seems to be running much slower. Could this be why?

Don't think so, Aqua.
Hi Phil, I'm on Firefox and most of the time it's great but usually around midday here [roughly 1.00am for you] it suddenly goes very sluggishly and sometimes spits the dummy completely. Then the screen just sits with half the info and goes nowhere - I've wondered if thats the time AB Ed does her 'housework' Then if I come back later it's fine, no problems - think it's just being contrary !!!
