not true. It is always lucky to find a coin, though obviously finding a gold doubloon is even luckier than a 1p piece.

It's only unlucky to find a coin with tails up if, when rising from picking it up, you bang your head on the ladder you happened to be walking under when you spotted the coin ;-)
