If you've installed (or possibly updated) any software, since your chosen restore date, you'll need to repeat the process but otherwise you should have no problems. Although System Restore takes your registry back to the way it was at an earlier date, things like documents, images, e-mails, etc, are left untouched (so they won't disappear when you use System Restore).
