Cheese in the fridge?

I was watching a programme on TV yesterday on cheese and it said dont put your cheese in the fridge.
As it will lose it taste.
I didnt no this did you?

I think they mean keep your cheese in the fridge to keep it fresh but take it out between half an hour and forty five minutes before eating in order to get the best flavour. If you leave it out all the time it will go off quickly and be somewhat "sweaty".

It said it will lose it taste wether it meant certain cheeses i dont no but like you said it would be sweaty.
Im leaving mine where it is lol

If you keep cheese in the fridge, it should be removed about half an hour before serving.

This is yet another bone of contention over EU regulations which say that cheese must be kept refrigerated in pubs, cafes, and restaurants.
So when you order your ploughman's lunch, or a cheeseboard at the end of your meal, the cheese has come straight from the fridge and a lot of the taste isn't there.
Don't you also find that the cheese goes mouldy pretty quick? I buy the pre packed ones and once they're open they've soon gone blue!!!!

It must be the cheese your buying mine doesnt
I never have any problems with my cheese!
And i have far to many cats who adore cheese to leave it out any where for any amount of time!
