if you get stopped,the police can seize your car and have it crushed,you will also get fined and have to pay any back tax owed,is it worth it.
also,if its parked on the road,the council can tow it away and have it crushed as well.
That's for no insurance.

It hasn't got quite so draconian for no road fund licence just yet.
















Ethel,check your facts,your car can be seized,for no tax.
If you own a car without tax the DVLA computer will send you a fine, you don't even have to drive it.
If a car is on the road and has no valid tax disc it can be clamped, impounded and crushed after seven days. Folk can 'phone free on 08000 325 202 to report untaxed cars.
You do not have to even drive your car, if it is not taxed the DVLA computer will automaticaly send an instant fine if your car is not sorned.
The same as what will happen if you don't drive it, the DVLA computer will send you an instant fine.
