Service &MOT

I've got a 5year old Citroen Saxo 1.1I Desire, the MOT is due but I will get a service as well, can anyone tell me what price I should expect to pay as I don't want to be ripped off at all & pay too much.

around �175/200,for everything.unless other work needs doing,ie brake pads etc.mot is �50

Here in Yorkshire,I paid �117.00 for a major service and �40.00 for the MOT. That was 3 weeks ago on a Merc 2.0

cheers, I've been quoted �180 + vat so I guess that's just above average but it is from a trusted garage we use on a regular basis. Not sure it's worth shopping around
