How much is 'average'?

How much alcohol do you drink per week? What's the average Unit intake you are allowed? I drink on a Friday after work and a Saturday night... probably 4-5 glasses of wine average per night.. but those are large glasses! Is that too much?

I don't think.... THINK I drink to much but I am not feeling to great right now. My brain isn't funtioning! I am going to a wedding reception later too and then out into town again! I was dragged on a pub crawl with the lads from work last night! Not good when all you had was a salad for lunch!

Well lets say I have 5 glasses of wine on a night out, twice a week, large glasses.
2 night = 10 glasses.
So 30 units!

I go through phases, I normally have at least a glass of wine of an evening (sometimes 2 bottles and my neihbour and I drink 3 between us). On nights when I go out, between 7 and 10 I probably drink 5 pints of cider each with a shot of something. Then at 10 I swap to vodka and diet cokes with maybe 3 opr 4 lots of tequila and between 12 and 3 its jugs of mojito and more shooters. I drink way too much on a night out.

Nights like that dont happen often Rubes but I am a binge drinker when on the town.

I don't have average weeks. Sometimes I go out on a Friday and drink from the moment I wake up on Saturday and then who knows where the weekend will continue after that! Fortunately I often work 7 days a week and in those weeks I probably drink below what I'm allowed so I hopefully make up for it.
