Can dogs get oison ivy or poison sumac?

If you mean get hurt by them yes if it can touch their skin

I'm going to say, no, they can't, because their fur covers the skin that would have a reaction to the poison ivy, or sumac. YOU, however, can get poison ivy by petting them if they have the oil on their fur.
